Black joy, black resilience, black power, black love, all magnificently captured in the artwork at Art Basel Miami Beach in December 2025, along with the two dozen other art fairs going on at the same time throughout town.
With record-breaking sales by Black artists, sold-out booths by Black dealers, and major acquisitions by collectors, this year’s Art Week was an enormous success by any measure.
The following images capture a small sample of some of the many works seen during the week. It was presented at Curator Ludlow E. Bailey’s 16th annual CADA Art Exhibition CADA and Panel Discussion on Contemporary African Diaspora Art.
