Applications are now open for the AU-EU Youth Voices Third-Party Funding Mechanism, a funding opportunity under the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective, part of the AU-EU Youth Lab programme.
The mechanism provides grants of up to €10,000 to youth-led organizations and groups working to amplify the voices of hard-to-reach young people and strengthen youth-led advocacy across Africa and Europe.
This opportunity is designed to support youth-led initiatives that promote meaningful participation, inclusion, advocacy, community engagement, and youth-responsive decision-making. It aims to bring local priorities closer to broader advocacy and policy dialogue, ensuring that young people are not only consulted but actively supported to lead action in their communities.
The AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective works to co-create a more inclusive and youth-responsive society in Africa and Europe. Through digital and offline participation, youth-led advocacy, trainings, community-building activities, and the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab App, the programme strengthens youth engagement, empowerment, and connection across continents.
An online support webinar will be held on 19 June 2026 to guide applicants during the application process, respond to questions, and provide practical information on the funding mechanism. More information and registration details will be shared through the programme’s online channels.
Applications are open until 29 June 2026, 23:59 EAT.
Youth-led organizations and groups interested in applying can find full information and submit their applications in English, French, or Arabic here. Before applying, we encourage interested applicants to read the Funding Manual in any of the three languages: [Button] English – French – Arabic
