Dove Productions, producer of the Caribbean Youth Film Festival, has always sought opportunities for young people of Saint Lucia in the film making industry.

The recent Creativity and Innovation Youth Forum was one of those opportunities for the participants of the festival.

Hosted by the Caribbean Film and Media Academy’s Teen Creators Academy, the Creativity and Innovation Youth Forum on January 31st 2026, sought to bring young creatives together to participate in a number of activities such as a Digital Creator’s Hub, Acting and Expression Circle, a Writer’s Circle and talks on Creativity and Entrepreneurship.

Founder and President of Imagine Media International, the company responsible for the Caribbean Film and Media Academy, Lisa Wickham, spearheaded the initiative. Participants, including Caribbean Youth Film Festival Alumni past and present, looked forward to the full day forum, and enjoyed the activities immensely.

The highlight of the forum was the Storytelling and Scholarship Talkback Session with Tatyana Ali, Award Winning Producer, Actress and Philanthropist; and Dr. Vaughn Raspberry, Assistant Vice Provost for Education at Stanford University. It was a lively activity filled with solid advice, guidance and wisdom.

Participants were presented with Certificates of Participation at the end of the Forum.

Dove Productions and the Caribbean Youth Film Festival was pleased to be part of this initiative.
