The company is actively seeking 50 committed diaspora investors from key chapters in the US, UK, and Canada to back a $260,000 flagship project in Ibadan, Nigeria. This project will establish an Enterprise Greenhouse Model on a 1-hectare plot in collaboration with Olamide Agro Smart City and Oji-Rivers Local Government Diaspora Office.
This strategic initiative aims to scale large-scale climate-smart crop production focusing on high-demand crops: Tomatoes and Bell Peppers. These crops will serve Nigeria’s growing agro-processing sector and export value chains, creating significant business-to-business (B2B) supply opportunities locally and internationally.
Seamless Investment and Payment Experience
To ensure ease of investment for the diaspora community, FarmXic is collaborating with leading payment technology provider Flutterwave to develop a seamless, diaspora-friendly payment gateway. This will facilitate flexible, secure contributions and foster greater inclusion in Nigeria’s agricultural growth.
