A forty-four-page post conference report has been published by the European Union Global Diaspora Facility (EUDiF) in the aftermath of this year’s Future Forum.

The Future Forum, a three-day conference which catalysed engagement within the diaspora-development ecosystem has been one of the major inclusive events that have taken place this year.

Organised by EUDiF, a pilot project funded by the European Union’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) under the Development Cooperation Instrument, the first Future Forum took place from 22-24 June 2021.

Content of the report includes the forum at a glance, highlights of each day’s themes and sessions, as well as details of all speakers.

The year’s Future Forum was fully online due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Diaspora Digital News’ Theresa R. Fianko represented as a ‘Special Guest’ for the Technology & Community themed space of the futuristic Networking Session on June 23, 2021.

The conference report is available in English, French and Spanish, which were the working languages of the event.

The next edition of the Future Forum will be in 2022.
