From the 25th to 27th of May, 2025, Ghana’s capital Accra will host the Accelerating Africa’s Growth Conference (AAGC).

The three-day conference to be held at the Cedi Conference Centre, University of Ghana will be under the theme: “Celebrating Our Heritage, Building Partnerships, and Empowering Women & Youth.”

The 25th of May each year is celebrated as African Union Day, and so, the event will see a powerful pan-African convening of visionary leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, development actors, and diaspora professionals committed to shaping Africa’s growth trajectory.

Special Guest of Honour will be Ghana’s President – H.E. John Dramani Mahama; with keynote Speakers including Hon. George Opare, Minister of Youth & Empowerment – Ghana, Kofi Okyere-Darko, Director of Diaspora Affairs – Office of The President (Ghana), H.E Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, Former Chairperson of the African Union Commission Architect of Africa, Dr. Amany Asfour, President Of Africa Business Council, Hon. Mmusi Maimane, Chair – Finance Committee, Parliament of the Republic of South Africa and other high level dignitaries. The convener will be Her Excellency Nyakan June, CEO – Timeless Dynamic Services Ltd (Kenya).

High on the agenda of the conference’s theme include discussions on high-value sector opportunities (Technology, Agriculture, Energy, Education, Creative Arts, Digital Finance), Enabling Policy & Regulatory Frameworks, Women, Youth & SMEs as Catalysts for Growth, Sustainability, Climate Action & Resilience, Economic Transformation, Industrialization & Trade, Social Inclusion & Human Capital Development, as well as Leveraging the African Diaspora.
