Unpacking the roots of African spirituality from the Arthur B. Steinman and the Paul and Mary Rosen Collections

As part of the ongoing Symbols of Spirit Exhibition there will be a panel discussion spearheaded by CADA Conversations and AARLCC, and sponsored by Anthony Brunson.

The discussions will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, US.

Moderated by world renowned Cultural Curator, Ludlow E. Bailey, the esteemed panel will be made up of Bayunga Kialeuka, an Artist/Curator, Chief Nathaniel Styles, a Cultural Curator, and Dr. Cecil Jonas, an African Art Collector.

Symbols of Spirit’ Exhibition which started from March will run till December 2024.

The exhibition will feature the Arthur B. Steiman, and The Paul and Mary Rosen collections of Central and West African masks which serve as a rich tapestry, unraveling the intricate layers of spiritual symbolism embedded in powerful artifacts.
