Vienna, Austria – On the 19th Of May 2021, the Austria-Pakistan Association (APA) in Collaboration with Pakistan Business and Professional Council (PBPC) and State Bank of Pakistan organised a detailed live webinar on the “Roshan Digital Account (RDA)”, “Naya Pakistan Certificate (NPC)” as well as other schemes launched by the State Bank of Pakistan for Pakistanis overseas.
The live informative webinar was also organised along with partner diaspora organisations and the European Pakistani Community.
This webinar saw community representatives from Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Switzerland who also participated in addition to a large number of their members within the European community.
Panelists included Mr. Shahid Nadeem Rana President Austria-Pakistan Association (APA), Dr. Qaiser Anis- President PBPC, Dr. Syed Murtza- Deputy Governor State Bank of Pakistan, Mr. Syed Irfan Ali, Executive Director State Bank of Pakistan, Mr. Tariq Javaid, Maya Haider from Germany, Mian Aftab Ahmad from Italy, Dr. Huma Jamsheed from Spain, Mr. Khuram Shahzad from Switzerland and Dr. Mubashir Hassan from France.
Austria-Pakistan Association (APA)’s President, Mr. Shahid Nadeem Rana said that “with this collaboration of partners and stakeholders, the future is amazing and we hope to expand these series to the whole Europe in the near future to market the State Bank of Pakistan and its allied banks making them attractive schemes to the whole EU, EEA Incl, and Switzerland.” He also hopes that the Pakistani community could get more advantage of all the schemes.
The Pakistani community living in Europe has also shown appreciation for this initiative and has stated that it is desirous of more relevant programmes like this one in future.
