Diaspora Digital Foundation (DDF) in partnership with the African Dyslexia Organisation (ADO) is spearheading the drive to support children with dyslexia.

Dyslexia can be classified as a neuro-cognitive disorder mostly associated with people who have difficulty in reading and forming words.

There have been reports to indicate that averagely, a tenth of the global population are dyslexic; with others suggesting it could even be two times the percentage. This means that the condition is closer to us than we think.

The Africa Dyslexia Organisation is a nonprofit organisation which exists to empower families and individuals with current and factual information about dyslexia, provide resources to manage the condition, and support to curb the stigma attached to the condition.

By donating to the Africa Dyslexia Organisation, you will be supporting with funds which will go into the creation of resources and materials that will be designed to meet the needs of dyslexic individuals. In addition, they will also assist in the building of a Dyslexia Learning Resource Centre. The organisation aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 on education to achieve diversity and inclusion for all children.
