Diaspora Digital News and the AfCFTA Policy Network (APN) have entered into a media partnership for the second edition of the State of AfCFTA Trading Summit.
In association with the AfCFTA Secretariat, the annual Summit will take place on July 29, 2022 at the R.S Amegashie Hall – University of Ghana Business School, from 9am to 5pm.
This year’s Summit is expected to be in four sessions around the focal theme -” Role of: The Youth in Trade and AfCFTA, Security and AfCFTA, Commodity Trading and AfCFTA, and Automotive Industry and AfCFTA.”
The AfCFTA Policy Network, which is well established in Africa and within the diaspora is the foremost and largest international non-governmental organisation with a primary focus on the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
It has been on an intensive media sensitization to inform the general public and business community on what the AfCFTA means for them; and what the program seeks to achieve. Diaspora Digital News believes in the role of APN towards the implementation and sustainability of the AfCFTA Agreement, hence this media partnership.
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is a duty and quota free single market covering all 55 countries of the continent, making it the world’s largest free trade area.
